We started Nirree because we found it extremely difficult to find bookends we actually wanted to own. Most of them were either forgettable or fussy, and didn't feel like they belonged in a well-designed room.

So we added our own spin to make luxury bookends. Each piece of our collection is designed to be looked at and noticed, whether there’s a book next to it or not. We pay close attention to the small details: the weight in your hand, the way light catches an edge, how a surface feels after years of being touched, its all thought after. We use high quality materials that age well and look better the longer you have them.

We have kept our collection small on purpose. We’d rather offer a few high intent pieces we’re proud of than a catalog of things we’re not sure about.

Everything we make is meant to be kept and inherited. When one of our pieces ends up on your shelf, we hope it stays there for a very long time, and then gets inherited after that.
